6 Benefits of Using a Webinar platform:

1. Webinars are very economical –

Compared to physical seminars, you save an enormous fortune by organising webinars.

In webinars, there is no need to rent a venue or take care of the hospitality of visitors.

Also, your clients will save their precious time, money and effort to travel to the destination.

Thanks to the webinar, they can quickly attend the meeting from their comfort of home with just a click of a button.

So, to conclude, organizing webinars is more cost effective than traditional seminars.

As the cost of arranging a webinar is very low, you can use these savings to boost up the marketing efforts of your webinar and attract more clients.

The only requirements for setting up a webinar are a reliable webinar software, webcam, fast-speed internet connection, audience and a microphone.

So, it’s a win-win situation for you and your clients.

2. Attract global audience-

It is easy for the participants from any part of the world to easily partake in webinars.

Compared to an usual congress, here they don’t have to book flight and hotel tickets in order to attend your webinar.

Also, unlike in a physical conference, here there is no limit to the number of attendees.

Even if some registered users cannot attend the webinar, you can easily share the link of the webinar recording with them or you can allow them to download the webinar.

3. Boost your leads-

Webinars are one of the most effective ways for lead generation.

Statistics reveal that a whopping 73% of sales leaders and B2B marketers consider webinars as a great medium of lead generation.

With effective email marketing, you can attract the potential customers to attend your webinar.

And you can employ the webinar as a sales funnel to sell your products and services.

4. Enhance your expertise and engagement-

As an organizer of a webinar, you will work to upgrade your knowledge in your domain.

The more webinars you conduct, the more work you will do to better your proficiency.

Apart from this, you will also establish invaluable personal connections, improve your presentation, management and soft skills.

In the webinars, you can encourage your attendees to interact and thereby, increase the engagement level.

Here, it is very easy to have a two-way interaction with your audience and receive instant feedback from them.

And with the help of this feedback, you can improve your presentation in real-time.

Webinars are very interactive sessions and this helps you to better understand your audience and their pain points.

And by knowing their struggles, in future you can develop the products which cater to their needs.

You can make your webinar even more irresistible by inviting guest speakers.

Your audience will definitely love to hear from many experts in a single webinar and you can also build your professional circle in this way.

By doing this, you can attract the audience of those speakers to your webinar and can convert them into your audience.

So, webinars have the potential to make you the reputable thought leader in your industry.

Some webinar tools also provide you the option to upload and share files with the participants.

5. Filter out the right audience-

Yes, by conducting webinars you can filter out the audience which is really interested in your products and services.

See, if a user is registering beforehand for your webinar and is spending an hour(s) listening to you, then he is the perfect customer you have been looking for.

6. Effective marketing strategy-

Usually, webinars stretch for more than an hour.

This provides you with excellent opportunities to market or soft-sell your products.

For example, if your webinar stretches for two hours, then you can mention your product in every half-an-hour. A webinar gives you sufficient time to educate your customers and explain them the benefits of your products.

Moving to the conclusion…

Which Webinar tool is best for you?

Demio is the ideal choice for savvy marketers. Livestorm is another popular option, that you could use.

Zoom is useful in some cases when you are looking for a familiar choice. As a free solution, you could use Zoom. One that I have not covered is, Clickmeeting which is ideal for corporates.

As I discover more webinar software, I will update this resource. For now, Demio should be ideal for the webinars of every size.

Try Zoho meeting & Zoho Showtime. Excellent webinar programs. Zoho Meeting can be used for virtual meeting as well as for webinars. Its offered free right now tll 31 Aug 2020. It is excellent & low on resources, no extra software to be installed, can be run on the browser. Priced at ~Rs. 5000/- per year

I’m not a big fan of Zoho ecosystem. Been using their Zoho mail for long, and to be honest it is not as half as good as something like Gmail. I know its a different comparison, but this is one reason I excluded Zoho webinar from the list.
